The Harder you Work the Greater the Results

Author’s Note: This is a text analysis to a short quote by Muhammad Ali.  I am going to reflect upon the quote on what it means to me as an athlete.

"I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion."

Training is never easy, it is everyone’s least favorite part about the sport they play.  But it is what you do off the field that improves you game the most. Put all your energy and focus into training because it’s going to help you in the future.  No matter how hard the journey is, don’t quit.  If you work hard now, the results will come. The improvements that you have made will show in your play.  As long as you put in your best effort when you play, you will feel like a champion for the rest of your life.
